Paley Broadcast to Distribute Digital Jukebox

The
Paleys are back in the software business.
Ron
Paley Broadcast
has signed a distribution, support and business
relationship deal with Digital Jukebox,
developer of automation, production
and scheduling software.
Ron Paley said of the deal, “Jim Barcus, president of Digital
Jukebox, had done an amazing job building the company over the past 13 years
and it was time for DJB to take the next step in its growth.”
According
to a release announcing the agreement, RPB will be responsible for sales,
marketing, turnkey hardware systems and tech support
for the client base. James Barcus, owner of Ohio-based Digital Jukebox, will
concentrate on product development. RPB will also provide business consultant
services to Digital Jukebox.
Ron
Paley Broadcast is a broadcast equipment dealer based in Manitoba, Canada. Ron
and Ted Paley have a long background in audio equipment going back to building
recording studios in the late 1960s. They began distributing audio and broadcast
equipment in the 1970s and branched out into installation later.
The
Paleys also were involved in the creation of automation system company OMT
Technologies.
