NewBay Launches NewBay Connect

NewBay Media, publisher of Radio World and sibling titles including TV Technology, Broadcasting & Cable and Systems Contractor News, announced the launch of NewBay Connect, describing it as a digital resource library for the broadcast, professional AV and pro audio sectors.

The website provides visitors with information and research including white papers, analyst reports, briefings, case studies, tutorials and web seminars, the company said. Reader access will be free. It includes content from trade associations and journals, think tanks, manufacturers, service providers and technology firms. Content is categorized according to areas of specialization to facilitate search and exploration. Visitors will have tools that will assist in their ongoing information needs, including the ability to set up tailored email alerts.

Categories covered include Audio in Broadcast, Workflow, Pro Audio, Play-Out, and Production and Post-Production. NewBay Connect also features a company directory area. Members can choose to receive real-time alerts on specific manufacturers and service providers.

The offering was announced by CEO Steve Palm, who called it an “innovative and comprehensive digital resource,” and Intent/NewBay Media Europe Managing Director Mark Burton.
