Boston Clear Channel station WXKS(FM) chose the NewTek TriCaster portable live production and virtual set system to stream this month's Kiss 108 Concert 2009.

Listeners/viewers could tune in from the KISS 108 Web site.

The concert from the Comcast Center in Mansfield, Mass., includes the Black Eyed Peas, Ciara, Soulja Boy and Flo Rida.

The NewTek TriCaster system provides an integrated video switcher and audio mixer package. The company says TriCaster lets anyone produce, live stream, broadcast and project a network-style production. One operator or a small team can produce a show while switching six cameras with two DDRs, multi-channel effects and NewTek's virtual sets.
