Altinex Takes Interconnects Under the Table
     

As radio stations digitize their facilities, they are finding that every room can be connected to all the other rooms.

Few companies take advantage of this more than interface/interconnect/widget maker Altinex. The latest from the company are five additions to the UT240 line of under-the-table interconnect boxes. The units can also be used on the side of furniture or inside cabinets, podiums, closets, etc..

Out of sight-out-of-mind, but not out of the action.

All models provide at least one AC receptacle, the UT240-325S and UT240-328S have two AC receptacles. All models provide a menu of connectors to fill out the complement.

The UT240-121S offers a 15-pin computer VGA input, 3.5 mm/1/8-inch audio-in jack, RJ45 network and RJ11 phone connectors along with three open slots for user’s choice.

The UT240-125S has an HDMI input, 3.5 mm/1/8-inch audio-in jack, RJ45 network, USB port along with three open slots for user’s choice.

The UT240-128S offers HDMI input, 15-pin computer VGA input, 3.5 mm/1/8-inch audio-in jack, RJ45 network along with three open slots for user’s choice.

AltinexUT240-325SThe UT240-325S (shown) doubles up on some items. It has two AC receptacles, two HDMIs, two 3.5 mm/1/8-inch audio-in jacks and two RJ45 network connectors along with two open slots for later choice.

The UT240-328S also doubles up on some items. It has two AC receptacles, HDMI, 15-pin VGA input, two 3.5 mm/1/8-inch audio-in jacks and two RJ45 network connectors along with two open slots for later choice.

Optional connectors include RCA, 3.5 mm/1/8-inch, RJ11, RJ45, four-pin mini DIN, six-pin mini DIN, eight-pin mini DIN, USB, 15-pin D-subs and contact closures. All products are UL-listed. Prices: $175–$199.
