APM Available on Google Currents Mobile App

Public radio programming producer and distributor American Public Media and Google say that the content creator’s weekly radio programs are now available via the Google Currents mobile application.

Through a licensing arrangement with APM, Google Currents offers radio programs from APM/Minnesota Public Radio, enabling users to listen to audio programs as they utilize the mobile device for other tasks. The app now offers “A Prairie Home Companion,” “The Splendid Table,” “Wits” and “The Dinner Party Download,” as well as daily episodes of “Marketplace” and “Minnesota Public Radio News,” among others.

To listen, download the Google Currents app for Android at play.google.com; an iOS version is in the works.

APM is the parent organization for Minnesota Public Radio, Southern California Public Radio and Classical South Florida.
