Axia Audio, part of the Telos Group, will show off its standalone audio over IP console line, the iQ family.
The modular iQ consoles are available so far in eight-, 16- and 24-fader versions, with prices starting at under $8,000. The base of the iQ system is a rackmounted, fanless, convection-cooled CPU/mixer/router, the iQ Core. The iQ systems are designed to be standalone, but support up to four iQ consoles per system.
The IP network utilizes Gigabit Ethernet and is compatible with Axia Livewire, hence it will work with Axia, Telos and Omnia Livewire-compatible products including phone hybrids, audio nodes and processors.
The desktop control surfaces are made of aluminum, with laser-etched legends, 100 mm conductive plastic faders, LEDs and OLED for display. Other features include a talkback system, snapshot memory, an event timer, studio and control room monitoring and a dedicated utility bus.
Axia Marketing Manager Clark Novak said: “We don’t think that you should have settle for something stripped-down just because you have a modest budget.”
