Broadcast Electronics gave away two HD-R tuners to attendees of its HD Radio Summer School webinars.

Enrique López, director of engineering for Clear Channel in El Paso, Texas, and David Liu, assistant engineer for Univision in San Francisco, were notified that they had each won Sangean HD Radio tuners, which retail for around $200.

Two broadcasters who attended BE’s webinars also won NAB Radio Show passes with full conference privileges worth $500. They are: Dave Remund, vice president of engineering for Regent Broadcasting in Yuba City, Calif., and Jim Glogowski, senior vice president of technical resources for Multicultural Radio Broadcasting in New York.

BE drew the names from a pool of several hundred broadcasters who entered for a chance to win during one of six sessions at BE’s HD Radio Summer School 2007.

BE’s HD Radio Summer School webinars drew broadcasters at all stages and functions of HD Radio adoption, including programmers, managers, engineers and production personnel for large and small to mid-market stations. Participants attended online HD Radio workshops and participated in discussions on Messagecasting, multicasting and webcasting.
