Plans are in place for the 10th Annual Scott Beeler Memorial Golf outing, held in Las Vegas right before the NAB Show.

Organizer Cam Eicher said the group outing is Saturday April 14 starting at 7:30 a.m., in a four-person scramble format. Rental clubs will be available. The informal tourney will be held at the Revere Golf Club in Anthem (Henderson, Nev.) on the Lexington course.

The annual event was started in 2003 to commemorate Beeler, a broadcast equipment executive who worked for ERI, Harris Corp. and Allied. He died the prior autumn, on the eve of his 38th birthday, after a car accident in Ohio.

The entry fee is $170 per player ($680 per foursome), payable in advance. For info call (513) 697-8786 or e-mail cam@sasaudio.com.

Eicher wrote, “Please plan to arrive early for coffee, conversation and warm-ups and those now famous ‘Scotty Stories.’”
