South Florida country fans, take note.

Ralph Michaels says a South Florida Country Radio Reunion is set for July 21 in Miami for anyone who worked at WWOK(AM), WIGL(FM) and WQAM(AM) when the format was country, which would be circa 1969–82 for WWOK/WIGL and 1982–86 for WQAM.

These stations covered the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale market.

Among those expected to take part are former WWOK DJ Dan Halyburton, now senior VP and market manager for Emmis Broadcasting in New York; Glynn Walden, former WWOK chief engineer, now CBS Radio VP, broadcast engineering; Bob Cole, formerly of WWOK, now at KVET(FM) in Austin, Texas; Ted Cramer, formerly of WWOK/WIGL and now at KFKF(FM) in Kansas City, Mo.; and Mindy Lang, formerly of WQAM and now at WMXJ(FM), Miami.
