Cumulus Looks to Print for Nash

It’s no secret that Cumulus Media is eager to promote its Nash country music format concept in more venues than simply radio.

The broadcast company has announced a deal with Country Weekly magazine publisher American Media Inc., for a 16-page Nash supplement in the upcoming Feb. 24, issue.

A release explained that the supplement would “provide an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at some of today’s hottest country stars, industry news, and the personalities behind its popular radio broadcasts.”

In addition, Nash station will return the favor via “integration of Country Weekly into Nash’s regular radio programming,” a release said. Furthermore, the two companies plan on creating a website that will “provide an in-depth and unique look at both the business and lifestyle aspects of the country music industry.”
