David Antoine Is Chief at WBGO

David Antoine has been named chief engineer of WBGO(FM).

He's the first full-time chief there in a decade. He will report to Operations Director David Tallacksen.

He's a broadcast veteran with 28 years in the New York radio market. Antoine is former assistant chief and IT specialist for WQXR(FM) in New York. He's also worked in technical and managerial capacities at WNCN(FM), WBLS(FM)/WLIB(AM), WOR(AM), WQHT(FM), WRKS(FM) and WQXR(FM)/WQEW(AM).

He's a former project engineer for DSI RF Systems, where he built transmitter rooms and serviced the broadcast community in the New York tri-state area, and is a member of SBE Chapter 15. He holds CBRE/CBNT certifications.
