Ecreso Silver Receiver Is Updated

Ecreso has improved backup features on its FM Receiver Silver, used in rebroadcast applications.

According to a release the Advanced Backup Management system now “will switch transmission to a preconfigured backup configuration when a user-defined failure condition is detected. All relevant alarm conditions will be triggered and the transmission will test the main configuration at regular intervals in an attempt to restore the transmission.”

The FM Receiver Silver is a 1RU unit with dual MPX output and the ability to monitor RF levels and MPX deviation. An onboard RDS decoder watches PI, PS, TP/TA, MS, DI, PTY, AF list and clock time.

De-emphasis is selectable at 50 or 75 µs. A serial port adds control options.
