Envision Radio Networks Brings Nielsen BDSradio to Univision Radio

Envision Radio Networks and Nielsen have announced a deal in which Univision Radio stations will use Nielsen’s music monitoring service and programming tools.

“The idea behind Nielsen BDSradio was to create a simple, yet robust music tracking service for radio programmers and music directors; a service that is cost-efficient, user-friendly, and gives access to the most monitored Hispanic radio stations in the U.S.,” said Envision President and CEO Danno Wolkoff. Envision reps the BDSradio service.

Evan Harrison, executive vice president of content and entertainment at Univision Radio said: “Listening patterns, and tastes are changing at an exponential rate, especially with our younger audiences — Nielsen BDSradio will enable us to keep our finger on the pulse.”

Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems provides music research and monitoring services for the entertainment industry including Nielsen BDSradio, a tool designed specifically for radio programmers.
