Grateful Dead Come to Sirius

Sirius Satellite Radio plans to launch the Grateful Dead Channel next week.
The satcaster said the channel will include rare and unreleased performances, original shows hosted by Dead founders Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, as well as rare archival interviews with Jerry Garcia.
Beginning on Sept. 7 at noon Eastern, the channel will debut with a concert broadcast of the band’s 1974 performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
