Martz Upgrades Omnia Ones

Martz Communications upgraded several Omnia One processors to new five-band software.

The corporate PD is Drew Scott. (Omnia describes him as “colorful” and said Scott offered some “very descriptive and complimentary phrases” about the upgrade but that “in the interest of decorum” it would only publish selected comments.)

The five-band software is now used on heritage urban station WAMO(FM) in Pittsburgh, on smooth jazz translator 104.7 the Oasis in Detroit (which re-airs the HD2 channel of another station), and on WYUL(FM) in upstate New York.

The five-band upgrade is free to Omnia One users via a download.
