NAB Sneak Peek: Digital Alert Has New DASEOC

EAS system specialist Digital Alert Systems will bring a new member of the DASEOC family to the NAB Show.

The M series is a “fully integrated EAS and CAP encoder and decoder,” the company says.

The boxes are FCC-certified and FEMA IPAWS-conformant and will deliver “all four EAS and CAP functions: CAP message origination, EAS encoding, CAP monitoring and EAS decoding.”

It adds, “Simultaneous alert origination to both EAS and CAP servers avoids message duplication, and the single-unit, single-interface approach assures that emergency managers won’t need to purchase separate and disparate systems.”

The company says that the DASEOC M series is compatible with Web, satellite and wireless systems along with third-party applications and services.
