Nautel Plans Users Group Get-Together in Dallas

While it won’t exactly be the equivalent of a trip to Billy Bob’s, transmitter maker Nautel will be hosting one of its Nautel Users Group meeting at the Radio Show in Dallas later this month.

Known as the “NUG,” the group meeting tends to include casual discussions featuring a range of technologies, with a few defined topics to hit. Hosts for the Dallas NUG are Nautel’s Jeff Welton, Ellis Terry and Kevin Rodgers. They promise lunch (free), some inside Nautel tech dope, looks at training programs and other things to delight the heart of the broadcast engineer.

The NUG is scheduled for Sept. 19, starting at noon, at the Sheraton Suites Market Center Dallas (which Nautel insists is right across the street from the site of the Radio Show, the Hilton Anatole). The Radio Show is scheduled for Sept. 19–21.
