Nokia Launches MixRadio With Play Me

Nokia has launched Nokia MixRadio with Play Me in 31 countries. The free streaming service personalizes a radio station by learning users’ listening habits.

The product for Nokia Lumia phones builds on the Nokia Music service launched in 2011, now adding the “Play Me” button to give users a one-touch personalized station.

“Just one touch of Play Me provides people with their own personal radio station, free of adverts, sign ups and sign-ins,” said Vice President and Head of Nokia Entertainment Jyrki Rosenberg. “You can even skip songs you don’t like, as well as build your station around your likes and dislikes with the unique thumbs up and down feature.”

MixRadio also offers curated mixes that can be saved for offline listening.

Producer Nile Rodgers joined the launch to announce to mixes he has created and shared through the MixSharing feature, which enables allows people to share three tracks of a mix through social media or SMS, which can then be listened to online for free.

Nokia MixRadio with Play Me is now available and can be downloaded here
