Omnia.11 FM Debuts at Broadcast Asia

The Omnia.11 FM is making its official Asian debut at Broadcast Asia 2012 on booth 4S2-01/3.

Sister product to the Omnia.11 FMHD, the Omnia.11 FM promises the same power and punch of the Omnia.11 FMHD, says the company, but without the HD/DRM capability. It is possible to upgrade the Omnia.11 FM at a later time to include HD/DRM.

The Omnia.11 features, as standard, switchable Single Sideband Suppressed Carrier technology for potential reduction of multipath.

It is also equipped with a front panel touch screen GUI, on a 10.5-inch diagonal screen for enhanced metering and diagnostics. Remote access is via any web browser, as well as a local onboard Wi-Fi connection. Laptops to iPads will have access, the firm notes. Livewire, AES/EBU digital and analog I/O are standard. The unit also boasts fanless cooling and a rugged 4 RU chassis, notes the firm.
