Online Radio Solutions Joins AdsWizz’s Global Roster
     

AdsWizz, a provider of advertising solutions for the digital radio and audio industries, has added Online Radio Solutions to its client roster.

Online Radio Solutions is the latest among a number of other pure-play broadcasters that have used AdsWizz to help them improve  monetization their global listenership, a release said. These users include Idobi, 1.FM, Digitally Imported, 181.fm, Fusion Radio, Futuradios,  Hits & Fun, Rautemusik and TraxxFM.

In addition to offering global audio ad exchange, AdsWizz enables audio ad buyers to target audiences based on listening device, geo-location, registration data and context, a release explained.

“The digital radio broadcasters that have signed with AdsWizz know that the Internet has no borders,” said AdsWizz CEO Alexis van de Wyer. “AdsWizz’s unique audio advertising technology platform and global advertiser base allow digital radio broadcasters to better monetize their audiences, from wherever in the world and on whatever device they may be listening.”

AdsWizz also provides reporting on both impressions and engagement and post-listening behaviors to optimize ad campaigns and understand audiences.

The company has also hired Don Albert as president of its North American efforts.

Albert has built and led teams at Internet and media companies, as well as at startups. Prior to joining AdsWizz, he was the vice president and general manager of the Americas and Advertising at Skype. He is also a current board member and advisor to several Internet and mobile startups.

According to a release he also previously led the eBay team that developed strategic partnerships with marketers and built an advertising revenue line. In addition, he pioneered new digital advertising models beginning in 1989, when he led the first online sales and e-commerce teams at Prodigy. He led early efforts in local online advertising at AOL’s Digital City and at washingtonpost.com. He also led efforts to sell the branding value of online advertising at PointCast. He also was a founder and the first vice chairman of the Mobile Marketing Association, according to the release.
