The Public Radio Engineering Conference takes place April 8–9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas; some sessions will be shared with the PBS Tech Con.

The registration fee includes admission to the SBE Ennes workshops on April 10. Discounted NAB full Engineering Conference registration is also available to PREC participants courtesy of PBS and NAB. The NAB registrations and payments are due by March 10, all PREC-only registrations and payments need to be in by March 31.

Direct any questions to Jobie Sprinkle at WFAE(FM), Charlotte, N.C at jsprinkle@wfae.org.

PREC session topics include the FM IBOC power increase, EAS, NPR Labs projects and updates from the Public Radio Satellite System on NPR's upcoming move and how that will impact PRSS.

Companies who have announced support for PREC 2010 are Broadcast Electronics, Nautel, ERI, NPR Labs and PRSS.

And remember, the deadline to submit nominations for the 2010 PREC Engineering Achievement Award is March 1. Submit those to WFMT's Gordon Carter at gcarter@wfmt.com.
