Radio Maria Chooses Bridge-IT for IP Links

Italy’s Radio Maria has purchased 38 Tieline Bridge-IT IP audio codecs to use as IP links. The codecs will distribute broadcasts to various transmission sites throughout Italy.

“The codecs were selected for their reliability and high quality audio after intensive testing at numerous sites over several months,” said Charlie Gawley, Tieline's vice president of sales for APAC and EMEA. He also added that Radio Maria says it is happy with the codecs’ performance at their various sites.

The Bridge-IT is a stereo IP audio codec solution designed to deliver both point-to-point and multi-point connections. The codec transports audio streams over a range of managed and unmanaged wired and wireless IP data networks, including LANs, WANs and the Internet.
