RCSnews will be on display at RCS.

The company calls it a state-of-the-art radio newsroom system that provides solutions for a news operation from newscast gathering, writing and editing to on-air broadcast and story archiving.

The software enables reporters to write newscasts, receive and revise wire copy and digitally record, edit and playback audio.

Also a focus for the company will be GSelector, a “goal music scheduler.” It lets the operator use one master library for each station. A patented goal-driven demand-based scheduling engine lets the user adjust overall sound and flow with attribute sliders.

The company says users can create a better log because the system eliminates unscheduled song positions. GSelector can alert the user in advance to adjust schedules across a group of stations so none play any song simultaneously. An audio analyzer adds codes like energy, tempo, texture, open and close.
