SBE Elevates Three to 'Fellow' Rank

Being named a Fellow is a special honor bestowed by the Society of Broadcast Engineers. Sixty-two members have been honored in 49 years.

Now SBE has elevated three to its highest membership rank during a meeting at the NAB Show.

Lawrence V. Behr of Greenville, N.C., is CEO of the consulting company LBA Group. James B. Schoedler of Denver is a broadcast industry consultant. Larry J. Wilkins of Prattville, Ala., is employed by the Alabama Broadcasters Association.

Candidates are nominated by their peers. Being named Fellow means a member has made significant contributions to the broadcast engineering field or the SBE.

The recipients will be recognized during the SBE National Awards Dinner this fall in Indianapolis, Ind.
