Internet-based music service/personal radio Slacker has added four Latin stations to its Spanish-language selections.

The four stations are: Memorias, an oldies track; Puro Norte, devoted to the accordion-based music found in parts of northern Mexico; Romántica, an adult contemporary mix and Salsa, for Latin and Caribbean “rhythm and beats.”

Three of the stations are programmed by Edgar Pineda, a veteran of Mexican and Southern California traditional radio stations where he worked as a DJ and PD. Salsa is programmed by Alex Espinosa, a 25-year radio vet himself. The new stations join Slacker’s other Latin channels such as the recently updated channels Puro México and Éxitos Pop.

Slacker offers a free personalized Internet radio service along with paid tiered premium services. Slacker is also available on most every mobile device as well.
