In other Stardome news, the company announced an agreement to use Associated Press material to create local Spanish-language top-of-the-hour news programming. Stardome will also distribute and sell advertising within the programming. Stardome Managing Director/CEO Anthony Hernandez said, “We look forward to the years ahead in providing this excellent resource to Spanish-language radio stations.”

AP’s Vice President, Broadcast Markets Dave Gwizdowski added, “AP is pleased Stardome Media is utilizing our content to help us reach an important and growing segment of the U.S. audience.”

Stardome says it has approximately 90% coverage of the U.S. Hispanic market and a growing presence in over 26 countries, with over 1,300 radio station affiliates.
