VCS Becomes SCISYS, Announces Management Changes

After more than four years of existing as a 100-percent subsidiary of UK-based firm SCISYS Plc, VCS officially adopted the name SCISYS Deutschland GmbH as of Jan.1 this year.

Under the agreement and as per German law, all assets, rights, contracts and obligations transferred unchanged to the new corporate name. Ownership remains unaffected.

The company also announced a number of modifications in management. Among these, Klaus M. Heidrich (formerly VCS director) becomes SCISYS Plc chief operating officer; Prof. Dr. Klaus Meng (chairman), Dr. Karl-Willi Pieper and Dr. Horst Wulf all become part of the management board of Deutschland GmbH. And, Dr. Karl Willi Pieper becomes part of the SCISYS Deutschland GmbH executive board, while he also remains director of the Media Broadcasting Solutions (MBS) division.
