Station group owner Entercom Communications has donated $25,000 to The One Fund.
Vice President and Market Manager for Entercom Boston Jeff Brown said, “On behalf of over 2,000 Entercom employees across the country and our incredible Entercom team here in Boston, we are honored to donate $25,000 to The One Fund to help assist the victims and the families of the Boston Marathon tragedy.”
Entercom has several properties in the Boston area including: WAAF(FM), WEEI(AM/FM), WVEEI(AM/FM) and WRKO(AM).
The One Fund was formed by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino “to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013,” according to its website.
