Entercom Signs on With Triton

Station owner to use Triton’s a2x platform to move ads

Broadcast group owner Entercom Communications has signed onto Triton Digital’s a2x digital audio ad exchange for online and mobile advertising.

Entercom VP of digital strategy and enterprise platforms Tim Murphy said, “A2x fits perfectly with our vision for the digital future of radio…”

The a2x platform is described as an “exchange that enables real-time bidding and programmatic buying of targeted online and mobile audio inventory for advertisers, enhancing the ability to manage, buy and sell third-party advertising campaigns.” It adds that the “platform’s automated, exchange-driven method of buying and selling ad impressions facilitates rapid and precise transactions, eliminating waste and resulting in the highest price for publishers and the greatest efficiency for advertisers.”
