KCIL/KJIN in Lousiana Will Change Hands

Combo is sold for $725,000

JLE Inc. plans to purchase two Louisiana stations from My Home Media.

The stations are KCIL(FM) and KJIN(AM) serving Houma, La. The price is $725,000 in a sale that is pending FCC approval.

JLE is headed by President Lisa Stiglets. My Home Media LLC is headed by Jim Anderson; it has radio interests in several markets in Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico.

The 50 kW Class C2 FM is licensed to Gray, La., and airs country music at 96.7 MHz, while the 1 kW Class A AM airs at 1490 kHz, licensed to Houma, and most recently has carried regional Mexican programming. (KJIN’s Wikipedia listing has a brief history of the call sign and that of its sibling KCIL.)

Media Services Group was the broker representing the seller.
