KRBL and KRVA Change Hands

Whitley represents both sides in Texas transactions

Walker Broadcasting and Communications, Inc. has agreed to purchase KRBL(FM) serving the Lubbock, Texas, market from William Whitley for $300,000.

The buyer is headed by David Walker who also has interests in KJDL(AM/FM) serving the Lubbock market. The seller was appointed receiver for KRBL by the 72nd District Court in Lubbock and has no other broadcast interests.

Whitley, on behalf of the Dallas office of Media Services Group, represented the seller as the exclusive broker for this transaction.

Whitley as represented the buyer as the exclusive broker in the transaction between Hill Wireless, LLC and LKCM Radio Licenses, LP.

Hill Wireless has agreed to purchase the assets of KRVA(FM), licensed to Campbell, Texas, from LKCM Radio Licenses for $135,000.

The buyer is headed by Ivan Hill, who has broadcast interests in KGVL(AM)/KIKT(FM) serving Greenville, Texas. LKCM is headed by J. Luther King Jr. who has broadcast interests in Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada.
