Matt Leland is the new director of sales for Burk Technology.
Steve Dinkel continues his role working closely with established clients.
Burk Technology specializes in transmitter remote control and monitoring equipment as well as PPM encoding monitors and facility climate monitoring systems.
Leland most recently worked at Dielectric as national sales manager for radio products. He held that position since 1994. Leland also has his own business, which manufactures and markets a line of RF contact springs used by makers of coaxial transmission lines, antennas and related products.
Prior to Dielectric, Leland was the materials manager and design department manager for Howell/Shively Labs.
SPX had planned to close Dielectric at the end of June before its largest customer, Sinclair Broadcasting, announced it would buy the assets and keep it going.
