Martin Sworn In For FCC

The FCC now has three new commissioners. The last of the in-coming commissioners has been sworn in. Kevin Martin’s term runs to June 30, 2006. Before joining the FCC, Martin was a Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy. He served on the Bush-Cheney Transition Team and was Deputy General Counsel for the George W. Bush campaign. Prior to joining the campaign, Martin was an advisor to FCC Commissioner Harold Furchtgott-Roth.
Other new commissioners Michael Copps and Kathleen Abernathy were sworn-in to office in June.
