Nautel Climbs Mt. Stanley

Edge FM gets an NVLT

Edge FM’s Senior Engineer Ian Crockett, Program Director Matt Hobbs and Engineer Jeff Neil check out their new Nautel transmitter. In Wangaratta, Victoria, Edge FM has a new Nautel 10 kW NVLT transmitter. Actually, the transmitter was hoisted onto nearby Mt. Stanley. According to a release, another NVLT is slated for sister station102.5 Classic Rock, based at Deniliquin, New South Wales.

Edge FM General Manager Frank Davidson said the decision to purchase the Nautel NV10LT was based on the potential for considerable power savings compared to their existing transmitter.

Nautel’s Australian partner Innes Corp. provided the services.
