Pandora keeps adding devices — now up to 450 or so — but now it is losing one its top execs.
Jessica Steel, the company’s executive vice president of business and corporate development, is leaving in May after nearly eight years.
The change came out amidst the business news announced this week for the personalized Internet music service.
Steel was in charge of putting together many of the partnership deals for Pandora, especially with automakers and consumer electronics manufacturers, reported TheNextWeb.com.
Steel is leaving to spend more time with her family, according to the account.
With partnerships in place, much of the company’s focus now is on marketing, and Pandora plans to move Steel’s team under Chief Marketing Officer Simon Fleming Wood, according to Pandora.
