Triton Digital Goes to Europe

Deal extends Triton’s international reach, expands OXIS Media’s product offering

United Kingdom radio consultant OXIS Media will represent Triton Digital’s product portfolio across the U.K. and Ireland.

Through the deal OXIS will sell Triton’s streaming, measurement, loyalty and in-stream ad insertion products to European media companies.

OXIS has hired James Cridland, who has worked for the BBC and Virgin Radio and speaks at conferences explaining how Europe is approaching digital radio, to work with Triton and OXIS to “educate publishers on the benefits of generating online revenue from and engagement with the digital audio economy,” according to the companies.

Triton Digital COO Mike Agovino says OXIS Media is connected across the U.K. and Europe and he looks forward to the expansion of Triton’s markets. Triton’s North American clients include Pandora and CBS Radio, among others.

OXIS launched JACKfm in 2006 in Oxford, England, the first Jack format service outside North America.
