Our NewBay Media colleague, Frank Wells, editor of Pro Sound News (amongst many hats he wears) and all-around great guy, has been elected to the presidency of the Audio Engineering Society.

Those who know Frank know he’ll be solid leader. He’s one of those rare animals fully at home in a recording studio, at a technical session discussing specs, meeting with equipment manufacturers or explaining it all in the pages of a magazine or a show daily (he has overseen the AES Show daily).

We at Radio World wish the best and look forward to congratulating him in person next time we see him. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer and more deserving guy.
