Davicom Debuts DADS-01

Davicom’s DADS-01 (shown) is an AES/EBU audio detector switcher is designed to be used as an automatic or manual switch for AES/EBU digital audio signals. Davicom says that it offers the necessary inputs and outputs to be controlled and monitored by other equipment such as the Davicom remote site monitoring and control systems.

The DADS-01 has advanced audio level detection algorithms that enable thresholds with delays to be programmed on each of its three input sources ⎯ two digital, one analog.

Also new for the NAB Show is version 5.50 of the Davicom firmware and software used with the company’s line of remote monitoring, alarm and control products.

New features include an iOS app for Apple devices; an onboard SNMP V3 manager and agent; direct Web access to on-site peripherals; PPP to IP bridging for backup communications; DTMF macros; resizable workspace screens and more.
