IBC Sneak Peek: VidiGo Visualizes Radio

Automatically switches cameras and plays graphics

At IBC2014 VidiGo is showing a Visual Radio workflow based on the company’s multi-camera live production suite VidiGo Live.

VidiGo Visual Radio automatically switches cameras and plays graphics by analyzing audio signals and XML data from the radio station’s automation system. The solution is able to mimic a real director, explains the company, leaving radio presenters to do what they are good at, making radio.

The most recent generation of its software solution is based in part on customer feedback, it says. In addition to switching cameras and showing graphics, VidiGo Visual Radio now features video content, making it possible to show video clips in sync with audio or play-back “video jingles” triggered by the audio table.
