Telos Shows Hx6 at BroadcastAsia2013

Six-line phone system features intuitive controls

Telos will feature its Hx6 system along with its full line of phone systems at BroadcastAsia2013 in Singapore.

Hx6 is a six-line Talkshow system equipped with Telos hybrids and a suite of audio processing capabilities that includes Telos’ Digital Dynamic EQ. Hx6 works with analog POTS or ISDN digital phone lines, and features two hybrids for conferencing.

The system includes digital hybrids with DSP algorithms optimized for phone lines, including VoIP and mobile callers, and adjustable AGC provide consistent audio. It also features studio adaptation and a pitch shifter prevents feedback in open-speaker studio environments. Caller override also enables precision audio adjustment.

The Hx6 also comprises VSet6 phone controllers with VGA LCD displays; status symbols provide animated, high-contrast icons that communicate line and caller status; and the caller ID works with either analog or digital connections. XScreen Lite call screening software is included.

Supporting on-console control of multiple lines and hybrids from Axia IP-Audio mixing consoles and Standard Livewire IP-Audio port for one-cable connection to Axia networks, the system includes a choice of analog I/O or optional, extra-cost AES/EBU I/O and can be set up and configured via Ethernet.

The company will be present on the Global Broadcast Supply stand, #5C4-01.
