2017 Radio Mercury Awards Accepting Entries

The Radio Mercury Awards are getting the ball rolling on its 2017 competition, announcing that it is now accepting entries.

The Radio Mercury Awards are getting the ball rolling on its 2017 competition, announcing that it is now accepting entries.

This year, the annual competition for creative radio advertising will feature 14 categories. Categories include Best in Show, with its $50,000 grand prize; Radio Station Produced Commercial (two awards); Agency/Production Company Produced Commercial (two awards); Radio Campaign (two awards); Spanish Language Spot or Campaign; PSA Spot of Campaign; Integrated Campaign with Radio/Audio; Student Produced Spot; the new Big Idea – Audio award; Radio Station Produced Promotional Spot showcase award; and International Radio or Audio showcase award. Showcase awards are not eligible to compete in the Best of Show competition.

Mark Gross, founder and creative director of Highdive Advertising, will serve as 2017’s chief judge.
