Beasley Shifts Dunn to Augusta

Names Toulas as market manager in Tampa

Kent Dunn will now oversee Beasley Media Group’s eight radio stations in the Augusta, Ga., market, and George Toulas has been named market manager in Tampa, Fla., succeeding Dunn. Former Vice President and Market Manager Mark Haddon will shift his responsibilities to become director of sales to focus on the Tampa cluster’s overall sales effort.

Dunn most recently served as vice president and market manager of Beasley Tampa. He previously held the role of VP and market manager of company’s cluster of radio stations in Augusta, Ga. Dunn joined Beasley in 1991 and worked in the Augusta market as general manager/market manager from 1993–2014.

He has been named as Beasley’s “General Manager of the Year” on four occasions.

The Augusta cluster is comprised of WKXC(FM), WHHD(FM), WDRR(FM), WGUS(FM), WCHZ(FM), WGAC(FM), WGAC(AM) and WRDW(AM).

George Toulas

Toulas most recently served as the director of sales and operations of Apricot Lane USA, where he was responsible for overseeing the revenue growth of the company’s Raleigh and Charlotte properties for five years.

Previously, Toulas was the executive vice president of operations and sales for iHeartMedia in San Antonio, where he was responsible for developing regional markets. In addition, he held the positions of president and market manager at iHeartMedia in Miami, director of the new music division at Salem Communications in Camarillo, Calif., and senior vice president of American Media in New York.

The Tampa, Fla., market consists of WHFS(AM), WPBB(FM), WLLD(FM), WQYK(FM), WRBQ(FM) and WYUU(FM).

Beasley Media Group is a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, which owns and operates 63 stations in 15 markets.
