A man with one name, Maynard, is rejoining Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, in the newly-created job of senior vice president of programming.
Maynard returns to the CC fold after several years on the West Coast in Seattle, with Hubbard Radio. There as an operations manager and program director he took stations in the cluster to the top of the ratings. He worked for Clear Channel in Eugene and Portland, Ore.

At Clear Channel, Maynard will report to President of National Programming Platforms Tom Poleman and Executive Vice President and General Manager for National programming Platforms Clay Hunnicutt.
Hunnicutt said, “Maynard’s programming expertise and knowledge of the industry has made him one of the most successful and respected programmers in radio he has been on our ‘wishlist’ for a long time.”
In other Clear Channel news, Jeff Davis has been named operations manager for the Greenville and Asheville, N.C., markets. He will also continue to serve as program director for WKSF(FM) in Asheville.
Davis has more than 30 year of experience in the radio industry. For the past 15 years he has served as operations manager for Asheville along with program director of WKSF.
Prior to joining Clear Channel Asheville he served as PD for WITL(FM) in Lansing, Mich. Davis also held prior positions at Federated Media in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
