CC Sacramento Lures McClure for VP of Sales

WMZQ(FM) names Aly Jacobs morning drive co-host

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Sacramento announced that Sara McClure has been named vice president of sales, effective immediately. She will oversee the sales operations for the six-station Sacramento, Calif., cluster which consists of KHLX(FM), KFBK(AM/FM), KSTE(AM), KHYL(FM) and KQJK(FM).

McClure began her career in the Bay Area at an advertising agency and then in 1995 returned to her hometown, Sacramento, to pursue a career in radio. She has worked in the market for the past 15 years, first at CBS and most recently Entercom, where she has a held a variety of positions including account executive and general sales manager. McClure will join Clear Channel Sacramento from a position as director of sales for Entercom’s business development team.

WMZQ(FM) has chosen Aly Jacobs as its new morning drive co-host. Jacobs will join “The Boxer Show” as co-host weekdays mornings from 5–9:00 a.m. EST.

A graduate of The American University, Jacobs has been working in Washington since 2004 as a morning show co-host and traffic reporter. Over the past 10 years she’s dedicated her time to some of her favorite charities such as the Marine Corps Marathon, Montgomery County Humane Society, Best Buddies and Pink Jams! promoting breast cancer awareness.
