One of the longest-serving boutique microphone firms, England’s Coles Electroacoustics, has a new microphone. Or rather it is now available in the U.S., thanks to distributor

The 4030L is a ribbon microphone with a figure 8/bidirectional pattern. The lollipop-shaped microphone is aimed to be an entry-level ribbon.
Its stated frequency response is 50 Hz–20 kHz and it ships with a foam-lined hard case and universal mount.
