Blaine Thompson, editor of the Indiana RadioWatch, brings to our attention the passing of Ed Moore, founder of WFRN(FM), Elkhart, Ind.
Moore was also the son of Crown Broadcast founders Clarence and Ruby Moore and he was involved in the family business on sales and management sides.
Over the years he also managed several radio stations in Indiana, eventually settling in as president and GM of WFRN.
He was 77. Services are planned for later this week.
