iHeart Adds Executive Creative Director, Other National Positions

Also names a PD for Baton Rouge country music radio station

iHeartMedia has added Rahul Sabnis as executive creative director, a newly created position for the company, and Donna Pickett has been named executive vice president of marketing for digital products. Additionally, Dennis O’Heron will also join the national programming group as senior vice president of live entertainment and events, and Brittany Tully has been named program director for WYNK(FM) in Baton Rouge, La.

Sabnis will report to iHeartRadio President Darren Davis. He will guide new content development for all of iHeart’s platforms. He joins iHeartMedia from MullenLowe Profero, where he was the executive creative director and head of creative; he has also spent time at 360i, Havas Worldwide and Digitas.

Based in New York, Donna Pickett will also report to Davis, and the marketing and business intelligence teams will report to Pickett. She will partner with iHeartRadio Chief Product Officer Chris Williams on marketing and product/programming. Most recently Pickett was VP of performance based media at Cannella Response Television, and prior to that she spent 20 years at Time Life, where as senior vice president she headed subscriber marketing for the music business, among many other marketing and management roles.

Dennis O’Heron will report to National Programming Group President Tom Poleman. Prior to his new position, O’Heron was the national event brand manager for national programming in addition to being the VP of marketing for iHeartMedia Boston. He worked closely with the team that created the first iHeartRadio Music Festival in 2011, as well as the creation of a multiband radio show at WXKS(FM/KISS 108 and Jingle Ball.

South Louisiana native Brittany Tully will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the WYNK(FM) radio station brand. iHeartMedia Baton Rouge owns and operates KRVE(FM), WYNK(FM), WFMF(FM), WJBO(AM) and WLRO(AM).
