iHeart Continues Organizational Shifts

Also names programming VP/alt rock brand manager

iHeartMedia has promoted Greg Ashlock and Hartley Adkins as part of its reorganization. Ashlock is now president of the iHeartMedia Markets Group, and Adkins has been tapped as president of integrated revenue strategy, a newly created position. Additionally, Lisa Worden has been named vice president of programming for KYSR(FM) in Los Angeles and alternative rock brand manager for the national programming group.

Ashlock will now manage the entire iHeartMedia Markets Group. Division Presidents Kevin LeGrett and Tom McConnell will continue in their roles and report directly to Ashlock.

Ashlock most recently served as the president of iHeartMedia Markets Group West Division and was the senior business leader representing the company in the West.

In his new role, Adkins will join the corporate group in New York and will be responsible for working with group heads and other corporate leaders to help develop revenue initiatives that scale across multiple platforms as well as new strategic solutions specifically for the markets group. He will also have responsibility for certain strategic businesses and will oversee iHeartMedia’s mergers and acquisitions activity with stations and markets as well as represent the company within radio industry groups and associations.

Adkins previously was president of northeast division and corporate operations for the iHeartMedia Markets Group.

Ashlock and Adkins will report to iHeartMedia Chairman and CEO Bob Pittman and President/Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer Richard J. Bressler.

As VP of programming for KYSR, Lisa Worden will work alongside Mike Kaplan, who will continue to serve as program director at KYSR/Alt 98.7. In her new role as brand manager, she will lead iHeartMedia’s alternative rock brand management team. Worden will report to Chief Programming Officer Tom Poleman and Executive Vice President and National Programming Group General Manager Brad Hardin.

Worden has more than over two decades of alternative rock programming experience, most recently as assistant program director and music director for KROQ(FM) in Los Angeles. She first joined the station as its music director in 1995. Beginning in 2003, Worden spent two years as the PD for WHFS(FM) in Washington and returned to KROQ in 2005.
