iHeart Taps Madansky as EVP of Insights, Research and Data Analytics

Also names announces several programming leaders

Dr. Michele Madansky will join iHeartMedia as its executive vice president of insights, research and data analytics, effective Nov. 27. Additionally, Tommy Chuck has been named senior vice president of programming for the Tampa-Sarasota area in Florida and Bo Money has been named director of urban programming for the Kentucky-Indiana region.

Madansky will report to EVP of Revenue & Sales Operation Peter Ban and will develop and manage data and research efforts involving digital analytics, ratings and measurement, ad sales research, mobile measurement, programming analysis, music research, campaign measurement/attribution and marketing research.

Madansky previously operated her own consulting firm specializing in media and advertising; during which time she worked with companies including BuzzFeed, ESPN, Pinterest, Time Inc., Hearst, Twitter, The New York Times, YouTube, GSN, Chegg and BabyCenter. From 2003 to 2007, Madansky served as VP of global market research for Yahoo!. Prior to Yahoo!, she was a managing partner at analytics consultancy Grey Insight Partners and was the first interactive specialist at advertising agency BBDO.

Tommy Chuck will work with local programmers to oversee air and digital programming as well as personalities in the Tampa and Sarasota markets. He will also serve as the PD for WFUS(FM)/US 103.5. He will report to iHeartMedia Tampa Bay Area President Sam Nein.

Chuck rejoins the Tampa Bay Area from iHeartMedia’s Baltimore/[Washington] DC region, where he most recently served as the program director for some of the area’s most listened to radio stations, WITH(FM)/Hot 99.5 and WASH(FM), as well as WPOC(FM). He has worked for iHeartMedia since 2001, serving in programming roles in Chattanooga, Tenn.; Birmingham, Ala.; and Orlando, Fla., before spending eight years in Tampa, as program director of WFLZ(FM).

iHeartMedia Tampa Bay owns and operates WFLZ, WXTB, WMTX, WBTP, WFUS, WRUB, WFLA, WDAE, WHNZ, WMTX(HD2), WSRZ, WTZB, WCTQ and WSDV/WDDV.

In his new role, Bo Money will work with on-air personalities and sales to oversee station brands’ on-air and digital programming for WZRL(FM) in Indianapolis and WTFX(FM) Louisville. Bo Money most recently served as PD for KQBT(FM) in Houston. He also previously worked at WBTP(FM) in Tampa and WXBT(FM) in Columbia, S.C.
