Marketron Mobile Brings Scratch & Win Tech to Radio Show

Intended to drive traffic, sales, engagement for broadcast partners and advertisers

Marketron has unveiled Mobile Scratch & Win, a new gaming technology for media companies and advertisers, which will debut at the Radio Show in Orlando Sept. 18–20.

The customizable SMS game enables clients to target customers with “instant win” opportunities. The scratcher can be used for ticket giveaways and other daily promotions currently offered online, on air and on mobile. Advertisers can also encourage mobile and email opt-ins by sending mobile offers as well as awards to drive frequency. The technology will also enable participants to share these mobile offers with their friends via social media.

“This year, we decided to demonstrate our newest product by bringing it to all show participants as a convention-wide promotion where we will award big prizes daily as well as two grand prizes. This will be fun as well a real-world demonstration of the power of mobile marketing,” said Martin Kristiseter, vice president of mobile solutions at Marketron. “The promotion will launch at the show’s opening. To enter to win, participants will text the word “scratch” to 77000.
